POLYVALENT

Espace Polyvalent is located in a unique part of Paris, France. It is on the dividing line of the old city and stretching into the modern arrondissements. Using this opportunity, Espace Polyvalent creates a transition between these two conditions by the means of architectural elements. The glass walls divide and connect the building’s programs and sequences as the one traverses the project. Preserving the typical Persian façade towards the old city, the building then opens up and finishes with an aggregation of geometric form, allowing the two unique conditions to coexist simultaneously. The project setups a narrative that speaks to the context and growth of the city and the project itself.
